The Timber Casket
We use only 4 components for construction
- Sustainably-grown timber
- Wooden dowel
- Jute webbing
- minimal amount of water-based, non-toxic glue.
The caskets are presented with the timber in a natural finish with no paints, stains, or varnishes. This provides an excellent surface for personalising with poems, messages, art work, etc.
We do not use nails, screws, or plastics in manufacturing or assembly.
Each casket is supplied with a bio-degradable cornstarch liner.

Mattresses made from organic cotton and wool are available upon request.
